We have been on and off the beaten path and we love them both. I think that people worry too much about labels. Travel is about going someplace that you have always wanted to go, not what others consider harder work or more remote destinations. We are heading to France next month and I can't wait to rent a car, drive on the highway, sit in cafes and be a part of society. At the same time, I loved being away from in all caming in the desert of the Sudan. <br>Good for you for embracing both ways of traveling. We mix it up.
