Bad Travel PR Pitches From Bookingwiz.com & Globester.com

September 8th, 2010 | 10 comments

I’m a nice girl. I don’t like starting ruckus but the PR department at Bookingwiz.com & Globester.com apparently doesn’t  understand what I mean when I ask them politely to take me off their email blasts. I’ve asked them at least twice to remove my email address. Fail.

Since May, I’ve received multiple emails with a list of URLS and a request for link exchanges from:

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Mac Tyagi and Peter Mac is probably the same person. If you’ve been successful removed from his email blasts, please let me know your secret weapon. Thanks!

Have you ever had to deal with bad PR from travel agencies?

Ummmm, that’s so wrong! I’m glad you’re exposing them!

I don’t even bother trying to get off their mailing list. Any form of contact will only encourage people like these. There’s another one out there by the way: Mark Jaction at markjaction@gmail.com

:D I guess the only way is to keep on erasing them. But hey that’s too much of a work. He needs to be permanently deleted from your contact – but I don’t know how. Thanks for the list of sites anyway.

Thanks Shane…Do I email Mark and ask him to help get me off the email blast?

Thanks Monika about Globester.com emailing for Link Exchange and we can see that how they are working for promoting there keywords in USA. I know the secret about this company and you know Globester.com owner name is Utkarha and he has his SEO and development team from Sector -14 Gurgaon India.
Boring company and owner of this company from last 4 years struggling in travel site. He has very bad SEO team and he is leaving in California and in Delhi his father managing SEO and development team. They do not know how to work and that is why they are struggling.

I think BookingWiz.com is a separate company from Globester.  They merely have an affiliate partnership from what I can tell.  BookingWiz has good people.  They are a small company, and of course would not have a “PR” department.  Disclosure: I do not work for either company, but have an affiliate partnership with BookingWiz.com and have communicated with them.
