Thanks so much for sharing. I will hunting for an apartment in DC soon too and was wondering if you could share more about how you picked the places you visited. Did you check them out online first and call to set up appointments/ Did you just drive by to whatever apartment complex had renting sign? Did you have friend’s recommendations, etc? I’m thinking about making a quick trip there over the weekend and then walk around in the neighborhoods that are appealing to me, but I worry that i may find few openings that way. Any helpful tips will be appreciated.
